Hi,
I’ve been working on KASH in Nashua, NH for quite a while. A new problem has popped up since the latest update. In the area behind the Hangar containing the airfield cafe, a huge hump has appeared in the landscape, distorting the ground massively compared to what it looks like by default. I don’t have any height controlling/terraforming polygons anywhere in the scenery. Has anyone else run into this?
This is what the area in question looks like by default:
If I load my airport, That same area looks like this - This is my airport project partially loaded in the scenery editor, before the buildings have been snapped to ground
And some views after the buildings have snapped to ground
And then, this is after I’ve closed the scenery editor, and it’s trying to reload the default configuration. You can still see the buildings I replaced the default buildings with hanging in the air over the ground that is back to default altitude. I don’t think they are terraforming, as, the road to the left has some undulation to it, but it’s possible.
I went through and deleted everything in my airport, and nothing affected the altitude of the ground there until I closed the project. Any thoughts? Just a bug? I’d hate to have to terraform, as maybe they’ll fix the problem causing the issue. This is the only area where I’ve noticed the issue. Frustrating.
Thanks,
Tom
