I have the same issue and have sent a bug report to Zendisk including a link to a quick Twitch stream showing the issue.
I am also finding it strange on how this affects some and not others as I have found interacting with other users chatting about this. Is it headset related, platform related or where you got your MSFS from. I am using a HP Reverb G2 with Valve Index controllers so I am on SteamVR and have the MS store version.

PS. I see no reason to re install a sim what was working before and the only thing that changed was the last update.
