Does anybody have any idea why Ive had to update to this version 4 times now? After updating and re installing multiple world updates and third party content. I restart the sim and upon launch it tells “mandatory update” I update it and all my content is gone including multiple world updates. So I install everything and restart the sim and repeat…now 4 times. The sim in its current state is far more rage inducing than it is enjoyable…Now that I think of it…thats always been the case.

Assuming no errors on updating? Aint got clue. Some folks keep talking about a 1.30xx or something or other but think that is a beta build. Do you have two directories for MSFS, or have it split onto another drive or something, as sounds to me like it’s loader files are corrupted.
For me it does not show up, as a normal update. FWIW-Asobo has now and for a while consolidated all the different platform updates into single numbering scheme. So if 1.29.30 is in fact for everyone, it is not working for me. Now, that said, some folks flying PMDG-737 are reporting some knobs do not work in it, so, again, some PMDG updates coming as well, if this is something for all.

It updated normally each time. Its seems to have stuck now, but i did end up going through the process 6 times. I beleive they initially realesed this version and it udated and was fine for 2 days. And then they fixed the TLOD and added it to this version or something? Not sure how it works. It took alittle over 6 hours to get it sorted so id imagine some of that was server traffic. Coupled with them trying to implement the fixes behind the scenes. Its frustrating to get through 4 + hr flight. And when the mains touchdown the game CTDs because the devs did something while i was in flight. A d the game needs updating. Its happened more than id like to admit.
I went through the same update 3 times. Not sure why but it has stuck now too. OP is not the only one.
Which Xbox are you using, and what version of the sim do you have? Thanks!
Just happened again… Im done with this sim. Its not enjoyable anymore.

Yep, not xbox, but posted 45 minutes to get plane ready, at hold at RW, mouse quit, CTD back to desktop. Just too much work, going to X-Plane, know it’s beta, but in beta, works better than this one. God I have wasted a heck of a lot of time here.
