I had a relativly good performance at the beginning of the beta, with this build fovated rendering makes stutter, overall performance not good now.
Tried the Rio Rally Race, very poor smoothness, some weeks ago i won this race but now bad fps.

Not much in this release, tbh.

Nothing to improve the major problems, or even to remedy the new problems introduced by this beta.

Lots of stutters with this build.

Mouse cursor hovers either too far in front or too far behind many cockpit buttons. Quick example is hovering over the Garmin buttons in the default Cessna 172.

Also getting the occasional screen tearing when moving my head side to side. Quest 3 with setting low to medium, versus mostly high settings in MSFS 2020 without problems.

I was going to say somewhere in the forum, that I was thinking that the performance now it was a bit worse than in previous beta, though all comments here confirm me it.

In Xbox series x, the game freezes several times when arriving at the airport :sad_but_relieved_face:

Did not notice anything significantly different between 1.4.13.0 and 1.4.12.0 on PC in VR in terms of frame rate and stuttering. But this time I cleared Nvidia caches prior to starting sim and initial load in of scenery stuttered quite a lot but then settled down as the cache was populated. No CTDs after flying about 3hrs, changing aircraft, changing locations etc. All those other frustrating bugs are still there: ATC not usable, exhaust distortion, map textures still ‘ugly.’ Not sure if it’s changed but cockpit view seems a lot darker (looking out the window) and outside view seems a lot brighter. Auto exposure slider does suppress the glare for outside view and the cockpit view could be simulating window tinting?? Internally the cockpit appears about the right brightness (PC12).

This is for VR performance.

CTD with empty community.

I had to deactivate the foveal rendering because it make stutter, but without the foveal rendering, it works much better.

any one out there can help i have the beta but every time i try to play a career mode it crashes and on the others i just cant fly in vr its realy anyoing i love the game but just not playable i manged to get on one one time and flew for about 5 mins then it crashed its so bad

before this 1.4.13 version i had good experience with foveal rendering, with this version the stutter feature was induced, so i had to disable it also.
It’s not the same performance i had with an earlier build, but better compared to enabled. :frowning:

I have mixed feeling so far on the SU2 beta related to VR. I appreciate great advances in graphics and smoothness thanks to DLSS4, Foveated Rendering, Frame Gen and other technologies. But we still have regressions in cockpit maneuvering that seem to be getting worse. We used to to be able to enlarge and shrink toolbar apps. No longer. We still have to deal with being stuck in zoom if our mouse happens to sit over a cockpit panel. There are still artifacts invading some cockpits (snow, rain, heat blur). We still don’t have a VR keyboard for changes to the flight plans or searches on the EFB. The ATC window now cuts off important comms. And now leaving VR seems to freeze the sim for many. I am mostly impressed by the sim in VR and it’s miles better than any other. But the regressions bug me.

Foveated rendering doesn’t work but apart from this it seems ok. 4090 Q3 VD SSW 40 is nice and smooth.

More stutters , increased the load on the CPU a lot

1.4.13.0 seems to cause more stutters for me than 1.4.12.0 in VR (inc. with FR enabled). Something has gone wrong/backwards with *.13

Works for me in OG Crystal
