1.7.6.0 Hover over parking spots at airport

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: On the world map can’t find out anything about a parking spot until after I’ve selected it.

Previously we could hover over parking spots and an identifier would appear (e.g.; Ramp GA Small, Ramp GA Medium, Fuel Box, Ramp GA Large, Gate Small, Gate Heavy).

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Anytime you are on the world map trying to pick a spot for your plane.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

1. Go to Free Flight

2. Search for a Departure Airport (any)

3. Zoom in to the airport, chose any (I don’t know what the icon is called) parking spot

4. Hover the mouse over it

5. I do not get a popup telling me if it is a gate or parking spot

I noticed this yesterday as well. Previously we could hover over parking spots and an identifier would appear (e.g.; Ramp GA Small, Ramp GA Medium, Fuel Box, Ramp GA Large, Gate Small, Gate Heavy). The following images are from NZQN Parking 1. Now an identifier isn’t displayed during hover (first image, bubble is slightly larger than others) but only after clicking the parking spot (second image).

One additional note, this parking spot appears to be unusable - the left wing of the Warrior extends through the fence, and the Cessna 172 can’t turn without running through the fence barrier.

@meh1951 : I now understand what the issue is as per @FlipperAlloy30 comments.
I would recommend to create a report in the Sim Update 5 Beta | MSFS 2024 > User Interface & Activities , using the provided template and filling in all required fields.

I also found this applies to runway identification as well. Hovering over the end of runway 05 (directly above the parking spot from my images) does not show the runway identifier until the bubble is selected.

I do find it curious that POIs (which I have deselected) are shown and hovering over these markers shows their name without selecting them.

I moved it and added the template so that votes are kept. Could you please just add information in the “reproduction steps” section and also information (title/description) reported by @FlipperAlloy30 regarding missing runway identification too. Thank you !

I can confirm this does this at every airport I’ve tried in SU5 beta.
