Strange, I restarted the sim and it still works for me. Select and aircraft, move around / scroll the list, hover over other aircraft, press configure or just go back and start a flight - correct aircraft selected / displayed.
Fixed in 1.7.9.0 for me.
A/c data to the left changes as the cursor moves over other a/c but hovering over the configure button the originally selected a/c does retain the focus.
Still working for me after a restart.
yes the configure button choose now (1.7.9.)the correct airplane, But the button still cant activate with the mouse. Only working with key command F. I have default mouse config.
This is most likely due to an addon conflict: Configure button not working in Aircraft Selector menu - SU5 Beta 1.7.6.0 - #31 by ShadowGKR

I can confirm that the issue was fixed but that configure button does still not work, only the F key does.
As commented above, this is most likely due to an addon conflict: Configure button not working in Aircraft Selector menu - SU5 Beta 1.7.6.0 - #31 by ShadowGKR. Have you checked that ?
Yes I read that, but i donāt have any software addons like that. However, I will spend some time double-checking everything and will comment again if i find nothing.
It could be a conflict with a different addon. To discard it, the recommendation is to always test with an empty community folder and disable any Marketplace addons.
That is going to be included in my testing.
Well good luck with the testing.
For me the button works with a complete empty community. Also with some add-ones but when i add one more it doesnt work. When i then place the latest add-one in (in a again empty community) the button still works. Add a few more and the button doesnt work again. So for me it is NOT the add one but somehow the āworkloadā in the community for meā¦I can remember that we had in the past a simular issue but with the āsimconnectā version. So i give up and use the F key ![]()
Itās only a partial fix for me. If I click on a plane, then move the mouse over the boxes to click the āF Configureā button it works.
But if I press the F key on my keyboard, it will configure the plane my mouse pointer is hovering over.
Worse, if you do that it now changes the plane you are going to fly from the map screen.
So I donāt think it is resolved, but the issue has perhaps changed slightly. Itās better than it was, but not totally fixed.
Is your test without any addons others than aircraft ?
No, but I can re-test later. I had Navigraph, SPAD LVAR bridge, and a few others in there.
Just re-tested with empty Community, and Community2024 folders. You will see the point where I press the F key on my keyboard, that the Asobo TBM 930 will get a tick at its lower right corner. Pressing F is acting like a left click, and F.
Iām using the āKeyboard 2024 Transversalā config, and below are all the bindings for the F key.
Your second screenshot is the 2024 transversal profile not the 2020 one.
Iāve tried with both profiles but still cannot replicate your issue when pressing the F key.
Maybe test with your hardware disconnected (except keyboard & mouse).
Your issue is different from the one originally reported in that report. I would recommend to create separate report for that but so far no one else has reported the same. It seems to be a local issue.
I only had keyboard and mouse connected. That shot is the 2024 Transversal one, not 2020, that was a typo on my part, now edited. I can screenshot that too.
Iāll log a new ticket in that case. I really am just pressing the F key when hovering over a differntg plane to that currently selected, which then gets selected when you press F, and you configure that new plane. It does seems sufficiently different to the original issue, where it didnāt actually switch the plane you fly, only configuring the wrong one.
Can confirm, itās still broken when I press F instead of clicking on āConfigureā.
If your mouse is over a non-selected plane?
Yep. I select an aircraft, letās the C172. Then move the mouse over another aircraft and press F. Then the other aircraft is being selected and opened for configuration, not the C172.
