when setting the “Instrument Name Tooltips” to “Delayed” in the “Flight Interface Settings”, it still shows the instrument tooltips “instantly”, not with a delay. This was working in SU5.1.

go to “Flight Interface” in “General” settings
set “Instrument Name Tooltips” to “Delayed”
start a flight and hover over a cockpit instrument
the tooltip is shown instantly and not with a delay
Hmm, ok. Might have to try again and see if it was just a one off thing, or related to the aircraft. May be it also matters, if legacy interaction mode is used or not. Will test further and update.
You guys were right.
Just tested again and it seems to be specific to the aircraft (was using Taogs H500).
It even works on the integrated garmin navi (probably from base sim), but not on the other (probably custom code) buttons and switches. Also tried both cockpit interaction systems “Lock” and “Legacy”, didn’t make a difference.
I also tried other aircraft and the delay worked there as well.
I will set this as the solution, cause it’s actually working and it was/is a minor specific aircraft bug.
