Not played MSFS for a while what with life and work, but tried to load it up today and greeted with a 122GB update(Previous update was installed).
Seems alot for an update ladies and gentlemen.
Is this correct?

Last month probably? Been busy at work and In spare time working on models for my Airport.
Yeah, same path.
I would say somehow its done the whole thing again, looks like you’re almost done though! I would check you now don’t have duplicate installations!

Working now, For some unknown reason the file path was pointing to the wrong location(I never changed i it)I change it to the default one and it downloaded the much much less update.

Ive deleted and redownloaded the game twice now and nothing is working, it just gets stuck on 100% and decompressing the fs-base-0.1.229.fspackage.001 - fs-base-0.1.229.fspackage.066 and gets stuck in a decompressing and then downloading and then decompressing loop. And when it gets stuck on 100% and i try to relaunch the game, it greets me with another 50-60 GB update where it starts the loop again. If anyone can help me then i would be so grateful.
Depending on how long “a while” is, maybe this is the cumulative total of multiple mandatory updates that are normally spread out into smaller chunks that regular users get more often? It wouldn’t surprise me.
