2 engines to single axis?

Can you map 2 engines to a single axis natively without using an add on?

Engines 1&2 - Left
Engines 3&4 - Right

Have you tried it? Seems to me the worst thing is you’ll get a warning that the axis has already been assigned elsewhere. I could be wrong. But I use SPAD, and it’s easy to bind two throttle axes to a single TQ lever.

Yes, that’s possible.
You get a warning while mapping, but it works.

As said, yes. Works for sure in default mapping.
It’s how I map my Throttle, Prop & Mix.
2x throttle quads for 2 engine mostly. 4 engine, I map Throttle to engines 1&2, 3&4 to help with taxi turns.

Still trying to map eight engines to four axis’s. No luck so far.

Something to consider if you don’t use profiles from external apps is mapping engines 1 and 3 on one axis and engines 2 and 4 on the other. If you use a 4 engine plane, it should work fine. If you use a 2 engine plane, you’ll still have seperate control of each engine and the sim should just ignore the engine 3 and 4 inputs from the levers.

That’s what I do, works perfectly.
