2012 Flight download file source?

I downloaded and installed MS Flight in year 2012, ran it, paid for expansion packs for aircraft and scenery areas ($75). Then my WinXP boot disk failed (or so I thought).
I had put a copy of MS Flight 2012 directory and files in an external hard disk, which is healthy.
I have repaired the original WinXP boot drive and it runs in a different motherboard/box now. But a copy of the MS Flight 2012 directory on the copied external hard drive (with same drive letter F: ) will not work with the new motherboard and old boot drive and old registry. Signature or ID failure. No clues how to solve that problem.
A new boot drive with Win10 activated OS in the old motherboard and computer box with the original internal drive where Flight 2012 was installed will not run 2012 because the new Win10 OS registry knows nothing about Flight 2012.
I don’t have the original download for 2012–as I best remember, I just installed it onto my WinXP computer straight away after I signed into my “MS Games For Windows” account. Now MS Games for Windows is long gone, so are all links to downloading MS Flight 2012. I don’t want to go back to putting my old WinXP boot drive back into the old box and motherboard. Is dual boot WinXP and Win10 an alternative? I have plenty of drives, PC chassis and motherboards, but I would like the much simpler task of just downloading MS Flight 2012 and starting over with it on the equipment as is.
Any clues or links where to find the download?
Thanks, Gregg

Of course, you’ll find numerous download links on google.

Searched for days on Google, no download links for Flight 2012. Mayhaps you thought I meant some MS Flight Simulator version. Not needing any of those–I have them all.

I really don’t believe you spent “DAYS” searching for this with how quickly I found an explanation of how to install it in 0.23 seconds of searching. Or maybe you never learned the search engine skills necessary to figure out problems that you don’t know the solution to like you’re average “IT professional,” haha.

I actually did this earlier this year and played for around 15 minutes before remembering why Flight was such a disappointment.

An explanation of what you need to do and all the links you’ll need.

And also, this really isn’t the right place to ask this question.

Yes, I saw that and several other “source links” and all result in “connection to server failed” messages.
And the comments below that instructional video had no link to click on except to go to other developer games and more videos about flying the 2012 version. Those were 8 years old.

Update: AHA!! It is only when one clicks on “Show more” are the hidden links coming into view. I guess I might try some of those. End update.
The comments also mentioned “connection to server failed” and no successful downloads recently. Do you suppose it is because Microsnot closed “Games for Windows Live” functions 7 years ago? I think so.
I have used Google searches for a couple decades, including for 57K answers to questions at Yahoo Answers. I think I know how to use it.
As far as being an “IT professional”, maybe I am not. But I have been an electronics manufacturing engineer (laboratory light meters) as well as a college classes CADD instructor. I began building radio kits in the early 1950s. I have done a bit of programming in several languages too. I have used flight sims for 35 years.

I have MS Flight installed and working since 2012 and I still fly with it.
A good place for info, how to install and use it, you can find at Avsim forums MS Flight section. There you can find also info how you can have whole world to fly in Flight.
