In FS 2020 Approach mode is not working in any aircraft. It’s like for a while, almost 2 weeks. Does anyone know what is going on? Does anyone know how to fix the problem?

Only time it hasn’t worked for me is when I’m not set up properly and of course this is different from aircraft to aircraft. Maybe you can be a little more specific with aircraft, location etc?
For instance, in the Bonanza I need to take the CDI out of GPS nav mode and into VOR/ILS before the autopilot will lock onto the localiser/glideslope. This doesn’t seem to apply to the jets however.
Remember you do need to be on an interception course of less than say 75deg - obviously with the ILS tuned in (it’s not done automatically on most)!
Thank you for your response. Yes, I know how to fly all the types of approaches. I’ve been flying sims for many years and the current no approach mode in 2020 just started about 2 weeks ago, on all the aircraft. I don’t know what other details to provide at this time. Thanks again.
Based on the topic tags, it seems like you are using the PC version.
Please conduct a test approach with the FBW A32NX on a short route. Document each step you take from the moment of descent to landing. Additionally, specify the airport and runway you plan to land on, as well as the STAR and ILS approach you selected
Thanks for your suggestion. I am not familiar with flying the FBW A32NX. I generally fly GA aircraft and PMDG 737.
Up until about 2 weeks ago the visual approach mode worked as it been for at least a year in the G1000 and G1000NXi systems similar to the other approach modes.
Something appears to have changed in FS 2020. Visual approach now only works in a manual mode. ILS and RNAV work as they are supposed to.
I mainly want to find out if others are having the problem and if it can be fixed on our end. I think Microsoft is so involved in fixing FS2024 they’re not available or aware of this problem.
I find i have a simlar weird problem since a month when i have loaded ILS approach in the C172 plane G1000nxi auto cancels and directly goes to runway without going in the DMR arc if VOR is IAF happened to me just now VOBL ILS 09L with BIA VOR as IAF etc
Works OK for me in several aircraft i have flown.
