Oops, took a mission that was somehow generated for a helicopter. I seen this once before. Mission was completed btw, but not at all “as real as it gets”. Exibit A: Highway Strip?
What is the background based at in your headquarters? Mine looks like some garage and it always shows the almost-free c172, but I have seen some people on youtube where it looked like some comfy lounge in a great big hangar.
(I’m level 50 and my recent flight was with my Corvalis TT, but it does not seem to affect the background either)
I think it changes as you get bigger business aircraft, ie medium and heavy.
I really hope we’ll be able to change/choose from mutiple optional liveries for our companies ASAP.
I bought the H125 for my cargo company and boy is that some ugly livery. Brown-gold with red letters. Could have been at least the strange pink-green one that all our planes have. And that one is actually in the game for H125 because I saw it while flying the H125 as an employee.
I really don’t get the current state of liveries for our career companies.
What were they thinking?
800m is more than enough for the PC24. Even shorter for take off with full flaps. The landing is more problematic. Got his beauty one time
Neofly is already fully compatible with 2024, I’ve been using it to give me missions and record progress while I do a cross-country trip. The progression is nice and really, the only thing I miss about 2024 Career mode is the in depth wear-and-tear mechanics.
I hope you meant to say highly unrealistic. With some aircraft the cost of maintenance just about out paces income. No less than 1% wear for every flight hour…
Please tell me why the navigation route disappears on the airplane screen (pink line) It is available on the map and on the tablet. A career mission.
I’m not the only one who thinks the wear rates and repair costs in career mode are far too high then. If real aircraft maintenance was like this, nobody would fly.
Then there’s the inspection intervals, a commercially operated GA aircraft in real life you would only do an inspection every 100 flight hours.
I wonder if it’s a new bug just released. Sounds quite similar to this post.
I shelved the official career mode fairly quickly to let it (hopefully) develop more, so I only had to worry about maintaining the C172. It was totally manageable considering how much the missions pay out, but it wouldn’t surprise me to learn that it doesn’t scale well with more expensive aircraft. Still, I welcome the addition of persistence and part failure to the 1st party aircraft.
The wear rate felt very compressed, but so did the earnings for missions. It’d be cool if you could adjust that scale in the future.
Definitely! Would be very helpful.
Assuminig there are no obstacles past the runway Unfortunately with those shorter than 1000m there are often trees or buildings in the way Best part is when the tree is literaly at the end of the runway, growing in concrete
After the last fix the career mode is working fine for me! With its small bugs but it’s getting better.
One question I have , it would be really nice to make your own flight plan! And be able to send it to or from simbrief.
So I can make my planning at the coffee table before starting the sim
Edit: maybe it was already posted somewhere or shared but I could not find it.
Ignore the boxes
And can anyone tell me when higher level VIP missions will appear? Because there are still only those that were available for Cesna
Sometimes these blue boxes show that you must nosedive into the ground, just ignore them. Follow objectives in the top right corner. And don’t forget to set local barometric pressure to avoid any conflicts with objectives or ATC
Thank you for the information
