Career mode enabled but at the moment folks are waiting for fixes = so it is a watch for updates I suggest.
This developer’s reputation is unfortunately not a great one - so I would not hold out too much hope for this to meaningfully improve, which is a bummer. If we at least had the YS-11 or Fokker F27, they could help scratch some of this same itch in Career, but alas…

I have around 600h on career mode only, I’m not using any skip, I’m not using time acceleration or any other tricks at all
The incomes has been so much nerfed for all missions, before this nerf I usually got 2 to 3.5M for a 500nm trip on charter VIP, now It’s more than half of that amount and missions are rare !
Yes some planes are cheaper than before but the maintenance economy is still the same
I grinded around 1month and half for buying a 100M A320, playing 2-3h every 2-3 days, now I grind for buying an A330, still 5-6month and I’m only at 130M, I have to pay around 30M every 15 days for fixing my whole fleet, that’s crazy
What a disaster in Career Mode today.
Planes crashing on the runway, getting a pushback request after already being cleared for takeoff, reputation going down the drain because of these bugs, and money lost on aircraft transfers.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issues?
We should be reimbursed for both the money and reputation lost due to these bugs.
Yep I’m experiencing the same, one day It’s a disaster, one day It’s “OK”, a lot of bugs with the missions steps and the ATC are breaking a lot of missions

As far as I know that’s never happened, even with ppl who lost their entire progression or money because of obvious bugs
I once put in a wishlist item for that - it didn’t get very far! Folk could try again I suppose, maybe I did not word it well enough.

Hi all, has anybody else noticed that there are no real-time/real-weather flights available at all in Europe? Or do I have to complete any mission in career mode to enable it first?
If I remember correctly it’s available after completing the night certification (or IFR)
Yes, as per @madeinblue, pass the IFR exam. You need it to transport passengers for higher income.
Thanks for the hint… I passed the exam but still I do not see any real-time/real-weather missions in Europe, only in the US. Anyone else having the same problem?
They move around the map - day/night and depends on how many are doing career as well.
I sometimes wonder if it is first come first served. Once someone does a mission for the day (my opinion) I think thats it until tomorrow or whenever they re-generate.
The mission generator is broken, everyday you never know what missions are going to spawn but one thing is for certain we are seeing 10% of missions volume compared to SU4.
SU5.1 nerfed the missions. Go to any major hub you will see a total of 5 passenger missions, London heathrow 5 passenger missions, which means you won’t see lots of long haul choices, you will find a few short Europe hops, maybe 1 long haul to USA. Nothing to Africa, Asia etc. it’s a bit of a joke now it’s been reported for over a month they have said nothing
Would having loads of missions at many airports over the globe cause graphics issues or slow world map loading? I am kind of asking whether more mission choice will ever become a thing if that is partly causing stability issues in consoles or pc’s.
I’m not sure, apart from the memory issues with SU4 during longer hauls, I’m not seeing any beneficial performance with SU5.1 and nerfed missions
Anyway the good news is that TFDI has entered the career mode chat, freight dawgs Luthansa Heavy cargo, Heathrow to Miami. Currently at cruise.
You can choose PW or GE variants and low poly variants all in career mode, I presume the same for the passenger airline too.
No issues performance issues whatsoever to report for the MD11, what a blessing this aircraft is.
However the send to avionics is not functioning, so you will need to manually enter your flight plan based off the career mode route generated in the sims EFB. You will also need to use simbrief for weigh calculations and manually enter them in into the MD11 tablet and FMC. Other than that its clear skies today and across the pond we go to Miami

I just grabbed the boeing 707 coz it’s on sale, will need some time to enjoy the MD11 and 707 before I grab the Phenom for VIP charter, but very exciting times nonetheless
Yup I agree about the Phenom 300, probably the best jet on the sim right know, FPS friendly, deep avionic, great flight model, great visual and amazing sound, not se easy to land on the first flights but when you get it It’s really satisfaying
Next one will be the MD11, but the price is a bit aggressive on the MP so I’ll wait a bit
What’s the cost of this one on career mode ? Between 150 and 200M I guess
