Depending on the aircraft and airport, sometimes you spawn ready for takeoff.
I get it all the time with 747 oversized cargo and spawning at an AFB with space parts and there are no gates for a 747 so they spawn you next to runway
It feels cheap. We should be able to spawn cold and dark anywhere imo
Same here, I sometimes have to change airport because I just don’t have time to prepare my flight.. It was not like that on SU4, It’s getting worse as usual
This happened the first time for me as well… I got a warning that there was an issue with the airport before it spawned me in on the taxiway with engines running. I just aborted the mission and found a new one.
More ATC than career related, but the ground routing in SU6 seems worse than ever. From the SU6 release notes: “Fixed Taxi Ribbon sometimes taking long detours when taxiing to a parking spot or to the start of a runway”
Yeah, this is not fixed… my flight into KMSN last night:
These long taxi ribbons are also crazy in free flight. Especially if you fly with traffic off it still makes you park at the furthest point away.
As an additional element to add as this might be a bug. The flight had no ending… it worked all good until I arrived at the gate to now have a parking ring to stop in and end the mission. Then it “crashed” my aircraft and obviously I got smoked on my Reputation. Definitely going to abort more of these if they continue to happen and I think as I am moving into the Heavy flights it is highly likely that it will. Saving for the 748 so that I can go re-live my last 15yrs 
Yep, It’s still a total mess, and I still don’t get it why it’s so glowy at night, it would be great to choose a less flashy color
Has anyone got the bravoairspace traffic/livery add on and how does it effect performance in career mode with traffic enabled?
I still have no traffic enabled but the performance of the Sim is much better so it’s time to turn a few things on and up the game
So I purchased the citation X when I was in Poland and started off doing plenty of VIP jaunts to the Swiss Alps and back to various hubs like Moscow, Warsaw, Prague and Budapest. Then got some work down the Italian coast which was nice to see the new Italy world update. Eventually found some VIP jaunts to the other side of the med in Egypt and Lebanon, unlocking new map and missions, which is nice because there is a Swiss Alps VIP missions vacuum you can get stuck in this area easily so id encourage to take VIP missions that lets you escape. Went back to Budapest lake Balaton area then found a mission to Northern Iran and headed down that way what wonderful terrain this route was. From Iran there was a New Delhi mission so took that up with the intention to find my way to SE Asia and potentially Australia. Once in India a few missions up the north along the Himalayan Alps, quiet scenic.
Then found myself in SE China, behind Tibet plenty of VIP going on here, China has lots of stuff and choices. Did a VIP job to South Korea and now I am in Southern Japan. So I’ve travelled from Moscow/Warsaw area and without teleporting and purely on VIP mission adventures im now in Japan with my trusty workhorse Citation X. What a joy this AC has delivered to career mode. I have some Japan map to unlock need about 3 missions to unlock the entire country it’s been nice to come back to a world update area, the eye candy is evident. From Japan there are VIP to HK and Hanoi which I will consider in order to get down south to Australia or I might see if there is a way to North America via Hawaii or Vladivostok. The citation X will take you anywhere, career modes must buy

Wouldn’t it be cool If career mode had EMS services? For example there could be a traffic accident at an intersection in some city. Or there is a structure fire where individuals need to be airlifted.
Have different scenes, vehicles ect.

You had better luck than me! I flew the Phenom from Seoul to Chongqing and was left stranded with no VIP charter flights out of the largest city in China. Had to spend 100k CR to send the plane back to Seoul.
I have a huge amount of patience, but I am thinking of trying out Jetcard and ditching the MSFS career mode all together. It’s nice that Jorg mentioned career mode in that vid above, but saying there are “sometimes” issues is an understatement. I’d love a competition that offered Jorg and crew a million bucks to reach a certain career mode credit goal within 8hrs, but the competition would be rigged with all the career mode bugs so the credit goal is impossible to reach. 8hrs of that kind of torture would give them an idea of what us career mode diehards have had to deal with for close to 2 years 
Yes I agree I have had plenty of luck because everytime no matter what, there is only 5 or 6 VIP missions for the citation X. Nothing more, nothing less and almost none out of Major hubs. One time I had no missions out of Warsaw but neighbouring regional strip had the 6 missions. Same at Bengaluru Intl no missions but some neighbouring strip had the 6 missions. None of it makes sense I wish someone at Asobo can see this but it seems they don’t play the mode enough to realise it’s shortcomings
Anyone still able to gain money ? (witout using things like simerate or skipping long haul)
I have 43 planes (almost all buyable planes for all jobs except heavies)
I’m stuck at 150M since 3 month, It’s hard to find mission that’s pay more than 1M/hour, I fly essentialy charter VIP, and all heli jobs, sometimes passenger transport with the 320N
With the passive incomes I get around 2M/hour flown (for exemple few month ago it was around 6-7M/hour)
Really basicaly i get around 3M per hour with passive incomes + my income
I do a full maintenance checkup of my fleet when I see that one or more planes are not generating money anymore on the daily summary:
This full maintenance checkup cost every time around 20M and it happens approx. every 10 hours
This combined to the new skip cost bug and the nerf of the mission rewards/quantity has killed the economy on my game, or maybe It’s just the A320 wich is too expansive to maintain ?
Everything was so easier before they touched it

You wanna focus on the A320 fly the 6hr missions they will generate 5-10mio per mission
You cannot earn enough doing VIP alone to cover the passive maintenance fees of airliners, so you begin stagnation and eventually head towards bankruptcy unless you uncrew your airliner fleet which results in no passive maintenance fees and income for airliners
Given the premium biz jets now in career mode thanks to flight FX, I’d uncrew all airliners and just enjoy the VIP
I don’t want to be forced to fly the 320 for 30h to finaly get some money for a 330, so maybe I will just sell it and grind a little bit with the VIP jets to directly buy a 330
I bought the CitationX today and it was one of my best experience on the sim with a new plane, even on career mode:
No contradiction between the EFB weight and the plane weight in It’s own tablet, perfectly and instantly synchronized, It’s the first and only “complex” plane to not be bugged on this side (even the Phenom …)
Really good and “easy” avionic for a 30 years plane, great flight model, the turbulence system is cool, FPS friendly
The Citation X is the best thing to ever happen to MSFS2024 and Career mode. I haven’t stopped flying it. Everything works well, the performance is bang on the sounds are incredible and immersion turbulence shake system is a game changer.
Flight FX are now career mode saviours 
I actually haven’t had this luck with the Citation X. Are you saying that the MSFS tablet and FlightFX tablet are showing the same loadout for VIP charter missions?
None of the passengers show for me on the FlightFX tablet, and when I try to add them, it only lets me add one (if any) and then removes all the passengers but one from the MSFS tablet. I just figured it was an MSFS bug since this doesn’t seem to work for any plane.
Would like to see more mission destinations on the VIP. Telluride is a popular destination. Would like to see some Socal to Florida flights. Florida to Vegas. Basically some popular VIP routes.
I believe the medical flights need some more variety. Like medical flights to the medical hubs like Houston, Bethesda.
Majority Cargo Mediums are 3hrs long. It would be nice to get some 2hr flights.
I would like them to allow us to decide departure and arrival point and length of flight within the aircraft’s listed capabilities.
I definitely want a FAIRER PASSIVE aircraft economy. If they fly for as long and they have the same wear and tear, I want the same payout without the things like weather and skip bonus’.
Definitely the same Cr basic pay though or else this mode is not worth it.
to be fair, their Vision Jet was excellent as well. they do seem to be a benchmark for “products which actually just work”, something that shouldn’t be cause for remark in any reasonable world, but here we are.
