I was looking forward to the new weekly challenges but was sorely disappointed when there wasn’t any helicopter content included.
I propose that there is at least one helicopter challenge in the weekly challenge league.
There is a helicopter challenge this week, but it made me think:
Does the challenge league group people using the same assist settings?
While I fly with full real controls and no assists, I don’t want to compete with some Xbox player on gamepad with full assist on. It is unfair as the amount of corrections needed for precise landing with a helicopter is massive, compared with assists on.

To be honest what else can be created for helis? Time trial between New York buildings?
Follow river canyon low?
Fly in Himalayas climbing at close to max ceiling?

Helicopter missions should not be mixed up with airplanes. These are different cars. Completely. If only to make a separate league for helicopters. It’s better this way.

There is also no reason that you couldn’t perform the rally races or low level challenges with a helicopter.
Oh definitely they should. If challenge league is about skills in game then it should be about all skills, not only airplanes.
What should be enforced though is no assists and no external view. That’s most unfair.
I just tried helicopter challenge with all the assists on and this is absolutely ridiculous!
I managed to get to world top 10 scores in my second try!!!
This has to be fixed, challenges should be with no assists and no external view, or at least there should be penalty for using any assist.

I agree. I’m doing the challenges from the cockpit view without assists and getting scores around ~1,700,000. I figured the top world scores around 1,875,000 were also done without assists, but you’ve proven a good point.
I cannot figure out how to align the target landing spot any closer without flying from the outside view, and the assists on…which doesn’t make any sense to me.

I fully agree that the current system lacks fairness. Personally, I complete all my challenges and missions in cockpit view with no assists, aiming for a top score of around 1,600,000. However, I experimented with landing the helicopter using full assists and 3rd person view, and I managed to score 1,750,000 on my very first attempt. While the score was higher, it felt unsatisfying and diminished the sense of achievement compared to using realistic settings.
To address this imbalance, I think a better system would be to group players using maximum assists into the Bronze League while reserving the Diamond League for those flying without assists. This change would foster a more level playing field and recognize the extra challenge and skill required for realism-focused gameplay.
I think there should be planes and helis in challenge.
I enjoy both, although I do believe they should be seperated into different leagues.
even though I fly both, and have for a long time in DCS for instance, I don’t want helis in my plane league and vice versa.
I also think there should be zero assits in challenge league.
I fly in cockpit without any assits by default… didn’t even realize you could use assits in challenge league… didn’t even cross my mind.

I also think that the golden league will be the hardest. The Platinum League is for nerds. (I still don’t understand how people could land planes by 99.9% in 2020)… There’s something wrong here…
Does anyone know whether Platinum is the highest, because I am not sure to have made 3rd place or below. Is there a Diamond league?
