I do love how MS has to pay people to stop using Chrome.
But with Chrome’s possible disabling of adblockers in the near future, they may get a lot more folks using Edge.

Marketplace purchases count, unless you bought from Steam. However, I thought you had to sign up for Rewards before they start accumulating.
