:white_check_mark: ISSUE DESCRIPTION

When selecting free flight and clicking on an airport, if the airport information can’t be loaded in, it’ll prevent you from flying.

  1. Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

Yes.

  1. ICAO, coordinates (DevMode > Debug > Display position), or specific location:

Teeside Durham Airport, UK

  1. Description of the issue:

Currently it looks like the sim is having issues with loading in airport information for some airports, preventing those airports to be used because it leaves the “Fly” button greyed out.

:white_check_mark: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you? (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)

Depends mainly on the airport.

:white_check_mark: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue.

  1. Go to free flight
  2. Use airport EGNV or any more local airport that is not a major airport
  3. Notice how if the airport information (ie available runways etc) aren’t loaded in - the sim doesn’t let you depart from that airport

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• I have the same problem, when selecting many, many airports, the “go fly” button is greyed out. Examples where it doesn’t work: KLGA, KJFK (can’t select runway or gate), where it works: KTEB. So I agree with the op, seems to be an airport-specific problem.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes I have the exact same issue, only since today (Nov 28) I have not been able to select any airports, nor start any flights.

In addition to airports listed above, I not able to select ANY airport.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• I have removed the community folder and any addons. I have shut down my computer and reloaded sim at least five times, and still unable to select any airport, or click on the fly now button which is unclickable.

Additionally, when shutting the sim down, it freezes my entire computer which then requires a Hard ReBoot. With the below error

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:
• In the screenshot below, note one of the default aircraft with KSEA. Note the buildings loaded but no parking positions, or even the runway is available. Note also, that the “Start Flight” button is unclickable.
