3090ti 5800X3D and I still can't run MSFS on ultra mode!

The main foe is CPU cycles, with a 3090ti alone you are well prepared for 4k and quite reasonable set for some VR … and you have the best CPU on the planet currently for MSFS.

The average suggestions I have are insuring the latest Direct-X and all C++ libraries

Feel free not to install the Bing Bar

As for settings if you are interested, I run near 4k worth of pixels by using 3 monitors in 1080p

I’m a little more aggressive in tuning some things but not too much difference.

I let only those who respect the weather
My Experience with GA is awesome, with the more complex I love to fly MD-80, it’s tough but worthwhile

Rolling out has it’s drop offs. I will not lie, but your minimal input and looking at dials here.

The frame rates quickly recover to much better as I climb out, no drink service yet.

Once you hit the seat-belt sign all is good.

Like I said, I don’t fly the MD-80 as much as I would like, some days are better than others even with server issues and whatnot.

Edit: Oh and as sketchy as that take off was at times, landings are a little tougher and you have to expect that when choosing settings. Being barely not a boomer I have some amazing skills at single frame per second flight. So I would land in the mid to low 20 FPS area dancing with my minimal comfort zone. That is simply because, well you’re looking at more ground than sky and there’s lots of stuff at airports.
