For everyone’s enjoyment. Allocated RAM is exceeding the 48 GB RAM capacity. I’m not personally concerned about this, as there’s still ~10 GB of free physical RAM available. A good example of how MSFS seems to enjoy allocating an insane amount of RAM, but doesn’t mean it’s actually using that much physical RAM. Rather, it could use it if necessary.
I wasn’t considering 64 GB for MSFS2020, but 64 GB RAM for 2024 isn’t a bad idea. However, for me, I wouldn’t give up 48GB 8400 MT/s to run dual-rank 2x32 GB sticks at a slower 6400 MT/s.
