I was wondering if there is a tool outside which would allow us to train situations such as “loss of an engine” or “hydraulic pressure loss” and the like.
I can see a problem with the different airplanes and procedures - but maybe for the more common aircraft such as B737 or A320 this might be possible to achieve.
Anybody heard of such a tool?
Some aircraft have such options already built in. For example, the Analog King Air by Black Square / Just Flight can be programmed to have any type of failure occur either randomly or on a set schedule.
Right - also, there is this tool “Random Failures” - gotta check that out a bit more I guess 
Not 100% sure, but look at FSiPanel, matched with the correct aircraft think it will work
