You are seriously better off using FS as a tool and spending your $$ on a real license.
What exactly are you two arguing about here?
The workload in a Flaming Cliffs aircraft sums up to “Take off, try not to blow up, land” - and when you put that against something like the F-14 or the FA18 the workload soars.
If you put an FC aircraft against the PMDG stuff, yeah, the workload is nothing. Unless I am missing something here, you’re both seemingly arguing about nothing.
If we’re talking real life, it’s really not that clear cut. Fighters often don’t do long haul with a lot of work, especially for a quick, average strike mission. Fighter pilots hardly get 120 hours a year in the sky anymore (Defence Online, 2006) but their work is in short intense bursts. Where as a passenger liner has a lot of work spread out over a very long period…
None of it matters though, just fly your planes, guys
You can already do this via the Marketplace and selecting Bundles. Currently the super version is a bit cheaper than the not so super version if you have GamePass.
Go up the message list…he is arguing that an Airline pilots workload is more than a Fighter pilot.

Boomers pay $80 really? Just like you snow flakes want everything for free. Get a job and $40 for a hobby you love is no big deal.
Rather they work on named airline skins at cheap prices or people will just make their own and force into the game.
now it will make more sense for them to sell at a much lower price since its mainstream unlike previous simulators
thats for sure. Its so worth it too, they dont know yet. But now that there’s a much large audience they might lower the price, either way I’m a customer
Agree. It’s way off the mark, especially for THAT plane.
I feel the price for the c182 is way to high compared to what is offered. When I pay 79 dollars for a DCS airplane (and often less because of sales), the package include a lot more system, weapons etc. But when A2A and others begin releasing for MSFS I am pretty sure that they will bring more value to the table.
Boomers pay too much? Kids these days…
A quality add on plane in the sim world starts at around 40 dollars, Carenados plane for this sim is not, more a 20 dollar add on.
A top of the line plane between 60-90 dollars.
An advanced plane goes for anything between 70-150 dollars.
Why? Because it’s not a common market, it’s a niche product.
am sure you are not a pilot and you really don’t know the workload at all, just because you don’t want to spend the money on something doesn’t mean other can’t it’s not your money so you can’t tell people how to spend it.
Thats exactly how i look at it too. I’ve still got FSX installed to fly A2A’s P47, B-17 and B377. Prepar3d will stay for the newer A2A models and X-Plane 11 for VSKYlabs DC-3 and Just flight GA Planes which are also excellent.
i’ve never found modern airliners interesting before but that might change with the updated checklists with will massively help the learning process.
The PMDG 737 for MSFS is rumored the be around $139 US !
But that it a seriously complete aircraft in terms of systems accuracy.
I saw that but I wasn’t sure if this was the price for the full deluxe version of the game or not…But I’m guessing that is the price as opposed to the $30 dollar difference between Standard and Deluxe version on Steam (that’s where I got the game). That’s a bummer…
