40Gig Community folder and 15mins to 'Press Any Key'

I have an almost 40 gig Community folder full of scenery etc and it takes usually 15mins to get to PAK (Press Any Key), I would love to know if anyone elses takes so long to load.

‘Deleting’ (renaming it to ‘My Community’) the Community folder gets to PAK in 2mins flat.

Why does it ‘load’ any scenery, I assume thats what its doing, before it even knows where you want to fly from or to?

Just dying too know if I’m alone.

I noticed that too. I had to remove all my scenery because I simply couldn’t wait that long. Not with the frequent CTDs.

Hi guys, I just replied to another similar thread on this.

You are not alone but try an addon like ‘MSFS Addon Linker’ or ‘peeyem’. It might help you cut long loading times.
