By all means do what you want.
My system runs fast, smooth, and without any issues that are resolved when I clear or disable RC. I believe that feature has a purpose, and I also believe that problems people have with it may be attributable to other hardware or software issues. If turning it off or clearing it helps them, I’m happy for that.
I’m merely offering help on configuring it if OP or anyone else wants to set it up the way I did.
