The op stated the callouts worked previously but now have stopped. It has nothing to do with the same plane he is flying. Something changed that the same plane no longer has callouts. This is a major problem especially in the Barron. Does anyone have a solution?
But was he in AP? Let’s baseline what the issue is and how to repro it consistently.
Also, some Bush Trips have scripted audio - so let’s make sure this is happening under nominal flying conditions everyone can retry.
I am keeping autopilot on all the way down to the runway. I am using the beechcraft g36 or the cessna 172 both with the g1000. In both cases I am flying a short flight from Madera, ca kmae to Fresno exec kfch. I have approach on at the IAF…and I get a green GP. Regardless of my flight plan…I never hear a callout. All of my volumes are set to 100%. But I used to get audible callouts up until recently. I don’t even get “don’t sink” which I also used to get. Please help me with this…it’s driving me nuts

Does anyone know the answer here to solve the problem? I know he is running an empty community folder so it’s not a mod conflict
No issues here. Listen for the 500’ call approximately nine (9) seconds into my video.
KUUU Newport State - stock generic Asobo airport (modified by World Hub contributor and accepted into MSFS core build).
Standard G1000 NXi Asobo Cessna Skyhawk - no custom liveries.
You have something interfering with the callout. Look at what you have installed from the Marketplace - liveries could even do this.
Also - doublecheck your UserCfg.opt file. The last line in that file points to the Community Folder that the sim is actually using. Make sure that folder path and what you emptied reconciled.
Thie is what is in my Content Manager folder. Could there be a conflict here cause no audio with approach altitude callouts?
Garmins listed in my Content Manager folder
Cessna 172 Skyhawk G1000 Textron Aviation by Asobo Studio version 0.1.112
Cessna 172 Skyhawk G1000-01 by Asobo Studio version 0.1.6
Cessna 172 Skyhawk G1000 Aviators Club by Asobo Studio version 0.1.15
Cessna 172 Skyhawk G1000 Kenmore by Asobo Studio version 0.1.9
Cessna 172 Skyhawk G1000 XBOX Aviators CLL by Asobo Studio version 0.1.7
Garmin G1000 NXI by Working Title Simulations version 0.14.0
Working Title G1000 NXI by Working Title Simulations version 1.3.10
This is only needed if you have a Third Party vendor plane that uses the G1000 and hasn’t updated their code to point to the 1.3.10 Code that’s now part of the sim core code. But that in of itself isn’t likely the source of no callout.
Did you confirm your Community Folder path matches what the UserCfg.opt is saying is Community folder.
To all of you who are trying to help me figure out why I am not getting audible altitude callouts during approach…let me just say a great big thank you for taking the time to try to help me figure this out. This whole flight sim thing always has something…or another…popping up. This is one of them. But again…until recently I WAS able to hear the callout at 500. Hmmm. In any case…if the occastion ever arises that we, by chance, get together I will want to buy you people a beer.
Wild guess but low effort to check - is your NAV audio turned down in the cockpit?
oops…If it is turned down…how do I turn the volume back up?
Turn the NAV Audio knob in the virtual cockpit.
I turned up all the volume knobs on the garmin g1000 in the cockpit…tried another test approach…no audible call out on altitude.
Uh Oh…guess no one has the answer to my question. But, I thank everyone for trying, anyway.
That isn’t true. Weather or not you’re on AP doesn’t matter.
This simply controls the volume of the NAV radios.
It does on G3000 equipped planes. You must be on AP to get the callout. And as you saw in my video, also NXi.
No you don’t. I just tried the Daher TBM 930 and Cessna 172.
