I get this every time as well. Also in the Saab 340.

Same error… any/all 737 missions. wtf

Don’t skip to taxi

I don’t skip to taxi and get this error too!

I have gotten the error just by entering with shift-C, but it’s much more common if you skip to taxi.

If you press alt-f4 when it happens, usually you will not get dinged with the repair, but some times you can.

Due to the immense errors in career mode, the alt-f4 key combination is currently the most important for the MSFS2024.

It happened to me last night as well. $40 million in damages and Premium insurance covered $1 million, but the insurance bill itself was $2 million.

So premium insurance covered $-1 million of my $-40 million in damages.

I get this error on every passenger airliner mission… it must not be the case for everyone because I was watching a MSFS 2024 stream on YouTube yesterday and he didn’t have any issues. Very annoying because airline missions pay the most as of right now…

I have an axis and ohs keybind on my bravo quadrant for it…….

this is a major annoyance for me too.

  • Mainly happens at Airports without Jetways
  • Also happens at most military bases
  • ^ why are we getting airline/charter flights from military bases?
  • Always shreds our landing gear when it happens and rep loss.

Medium Cargo pays the best until you get the 737.

I have enough to buy a very lightly used 737 (the one for 88 mil) but know that I can’t use it. I’ve even tried employee missions that start at a gate and that also crashes as soon as I enter the plane. The only mission I’ve been able to complete is the initial mission from South Korea right after you unlock the specialization.

Slight workaround to this bug, though only applicable for Employee missions for financial reasons, is to just try the one you want again and again, with occasional sim restart, and when on walk around, skip to taxi without entering the cockpit. If you’re lucky, it will skip to taxi in some form instead of a failure.

I have premium deluxe so I can use the A320 which is much cheaper than the 737, I wouldn’t make less money would I since they’re the same missions?

Not available in career at the moment.

A320 is part of Standard Edition.

Sorry I meant the Saab 340 that comes with Prem deluxe.

• Not exactly (didn’t skip to Taxi). This issue seems to be intermittent.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Happened with the Cessna 172 with no mods on Xbox Series S. I assume this might be due to some radio calls (chatting with the customers?) that are normally prompted, which were not visible and thus could not be selected before taxi. I did get Startup, Taxi and ATC IFR clearance before starting the engine and moving though.

Found a workaround:

After doing the needed calls, skip to taxi. This seems to slew your aircraft to the position it’s already at and triggers some dialogue which then lets you taxi and take off. This doesn’t really seem to affect the no skip bonus at the end of the flight, though I can’t be sure it doesn’t at all.
