Hi,

I had the same issue with all dark panels.
Found out that on my Honeycomb Alpha the red rocker switches for ALT and BAT as well as the white rocker switches for BUS1 and BUS2 had to be in the ON position.
If you have a setup on your joystick/yoke that control the avionic master switches, make sure that they are ON.
Hope this helps.

This issue suddenly cropped up for me yesterday although I changed nothing. My community folder is empty. I tried turning on the Honeycomb Alpha switches as you suggested, but the 737 Max cockpit screens are still not on. Turning the overhead panel battery switch on provides power. The APU will run and it’s generators are on and selected. Even the engines will start and their generators turn on. However, still no PFD, MFD or FMC screens, even with brightness turned all the way up. I never had to use the Alpha switches before, so I am stymied.

Almost certainly a hardware binding issue. Try disconnecting your Alpha and loading into the plane - you can do a C&D startup using just the virtual cockpit switches on the flight deck.

Thanks, but nothing seems to work. The 737 Max screens were visible very recently, without using any Honeycomb Alpha switches. Interestingly, the 747, 787, Longitude, etc. work fine without any Alpha switches. So, it is a problem specific to the 737 Max. I’ll wait until Beta1 is released and see if that fixes it. I still have MSFS 2020 installed and can fly the PMDG 737 there.

But did you actually unplug the controller and try a mouse-only start?

Yes. The other aircraft I mentioned were fine with the Alpha controller unplugged. Only the 737 would not work. I did notice when looking at my streamed aircraft that the 737 displayed a message that “FS-BASE-AIRCRAFT-COMMON” was required. That folder in MSFS 2020 resides at \Users[user name]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore. The folder does not exist in MSFS 2024. I tried copying the 2020 version of the folder to 2024, but it didn’t help.

UPDATE 2025-02-05:
Fixed. Apparently, for some reason, one of my mods completely overrode MSFS files and removing said mod caused this issue to happen. Needless to say I WON’T be loading that mod again until the problem is fixed, because the only solution involved deleting everything in my msfs folder and manually fixing every keybind and options entry.

Did you try to + their brightness via regulators on the captain’s and 1st officer panels (covered by the control column on your screenshot)?

Yep. All that changes is how strong the reflection of each display is, nothing more
It’s as if the displays work but someone put a black rectangle on top of them
