This problem was mentioned for at least two other aircraft but I haven’t seen anything about the 737 with respect to the super-bright PFD screen at night.
Picture attached. This can’t be a hard bug to fix so please!
P.S. I have already adjusted everything in the sim I can find - the rotary controls below the PFD don’t do anything for the PFD screen - and I played around with my PC screen brightness to no avail. The screen is fine as long as you fly in daylight hours, so it may not affect Career Mode.

You can turn the brightness down, but yeah - by default it is WAY too bright when you spawn in.
Same in heart aerospace… and I can’t find the dimmer switch for that one anywhere…
I am having same problem with almost all planes. even gps screens are too bright and couldn’t turn it down
Found the control to adjust brightness of the screens. There are two controls below the PFD labeled OUTBD DU and INBD DU and what’s hard to see is each control has outer and central knobs.
To adjust screen brightness, grab the OUTER ring with mouse, hold down left button and then use wheel or drag cursor. Picture attached.
