747-8i Autopilot Fix Mod test video (W.I.P)

I’m testing my autopilot fix mod (Including Flight Characteristic/Ground Taxing Characteristic fixes) because This makes me a crazy and I can’t wait until officially fix this.

Here is test footage about my 747-8i autopilot fix mod. (including attitude control, altitude change, route following, 3x faster sim rate)

Flight route includes many hard turns for my fix mod test.

Also, I think this can applied on other aircraft too. (Now I’m check my fix with 2 other planes - 787 and tbm930 -. Still testing but pretty works well now.)

I’m really don’t understand why they can’t fix this OFFICIALLY? Why? (It just need a few hours with energy drinks)

ok, downloaded your mod and tried a 2 hour flight in the 747.

Takeoff - great
Autopilot - great
Descent - terrible
Landing - PC crashed (thanks Asobo)

I noticed on the descent a few bugs/issues (have no idea if this is Asobo bugs or from the mod)

1. Speed - the speed bug looked frozen on the display – even though I was reducing speed to 180 knots on the approach, my speed would then try to increase to 240, then back to 180, then back to 240. I did not use VNAV since it’s never worked for me in airliners

2. I was about 2 miles from airport and PC locked up on me. Typical CTD that we see from Asobo time to time.

Love the mod minus the experience above, but not sure if that’s your mod or the flight sim in general with the 747.

I’m already recognize some performance issues and it is almost fixed or improved now.
In 0.67 what will be released, that altitude holding and convergence, descent and speed control performance is fixed and more improved.

1. I think this speed issue during descent and approach issue is game core issues. But, my newer version correspondence preparation. I think this is best I can do.

2. Crash issue…Only I can said " Thanks Asobo "…
   I’m also crashed occasionally…it really annoying.
   If you can, monitored with dev mode console when you approach to the airport. Tons of objects suddenly loaded…I think this causes CTD.

You mean altitude error and descent peformance?
That issue under testing 0.67 already fix that.

I was more thinking about the left/right dance its doing, but at this point, any fix for that plane will do
