747 Delayed Yoke Input

Hey guys, after the very recent update I am having issues with delayed yoke input on the 747 aircraft. All the other ones are fine but when I fly the 747, the input delay takes like 3-4 seconds to fully turn left/right or elevator up/down. Also I tried taking out the salty 747 mod and all mods but still the same. Please help, I cannot fly my favorite aircraft as this is very frustratin.

Are you sure that this problem is new?
I’m observing this super slow respone since many versions.

I doesn’t occur when you are sitting static on the runway.
It’s some kind of FBW system Asobo is using for the 747.

Nevertheless the 747 (still) handflies quite nicely IMO.

Yeah because before the recent update there was no delay at all on the 747 both default and Salty mod. The response was great and I had no problems. Like I said I tested all air crafts and they were all fine. Just the 747. It’s suuuper delayed and slow. I don’t think tmita the flight model, it’s more so the response of the joystick input to the 747. Also I’m using logitech extreme 3d pro.

That’s definitely incorrect, since I’ve wrote a few bug reports about this extreme slow/delayed response already a few month ago.

Okay it only happens whenever there’s airspeed alive. But when I’m on the ground the yoke seems to be fine and super reactive. When airspeed comes alive all of a sudden it’s just so delayed.

I found this while googling. The answer is (at least partially) the flight_model.cfg file. Find the setting “aileron_elasticity_table” and “controls_reactivity_scalar.” I changed these to:

aileron_elasticity_table = 0:1, 30:1, 100:0.9, 160:0.33, 240:0.25
controls_reactivity_scalar = 4

and the result is acceptable. There is probably still some fine tuning that could be done but gets rid of most of the ridiculous delay between input and actual control surface deflection in game.
