Wasn’t really comparing them but I could if I wanted to, why can’t I exactly? I paid $120 for premium deluxe.
I was more stating the vast difference between Asobo and a quality dev like PMDG.

Well yeah, that difference is obviously for me, but yeah, sure you can compare them, as you can compare apples to bananas, why not… ![]()
Exactly, fruit to fruit and airplane to airplane!! ![]()
If you are dissatisfied with the B787-10 consider trying the Kuro B787-8. I love that a/c. I did a search and found it at Fllightsim.to
Thanks, wish I could. I’m on XSX.
I was just about to type that. I am much happier with its flight model and dynamics than the default 787-10. Oh, BTW, for all of the 787 based models, I find less “ice skating” on landing with turning autobraking down to 1 or even off…
Interesting how these devs can do so much better than Asobo, some of them are like one or two people (Hjet for example). As I mentioned, I’m on Xbox and don’t know much about the cross platform compatibility. Is there a reason why the Kuro can’t be on Xbox? I assume it requires external resources like the fenix a320?
Take a deep breath. I know how you feel, I was a 787 only flyer till I tried the pmdg 737(was honestly very afraid as it’s a really detailed aircraft, more worried about the performance aspect) but it blew me away, out of the sky! In fact sometime later today they’ll be shipping out an update for performance optimisation and some handling improvements to the AFDS for the PMDG 737.
My honest thoughts for a widebody long hauler? Wait for the pmdg 777, it’s said to have an even better performance than the 737. Worth the wait, but I’ll take a complete and polished product and enjoy simming without worrying about performance and stuttering etc. Not that I’m bashing the updated 787-10, it’s great with the new EFB and simbrief/navigraph uplinks which works amazingly well and takes less than 5 seconds to connect to your account with just your Pilot ID on simbrief, but I just wish they could match the fps which the PMDG 737 accomplishes without raising a finger.
On the 787? Where is this?
Late to the game checking out the WT 787. Absolutely night and day compared to original default release. So much more feature rich and enjoyable to fly. Feels more like a payware / premium aircraft now. Top marks to WT for the implementation and thank you to MS/Asobo for the continued AU upgrades.
On the default 787-10 the EFB is INOP. How could you switch it on? Thanks.
This is in Beta. If you do not participate in Beta, just wait.
OK. Got it. Thanks.
It’s great to hear they are adding the EFB performance calc and simbrief integration. The 787 is going to get more premium it would seem. Always thought it was under done/generic originally and the Heavy Division mod made it more usable, but I’d largely written it off. Now with AAU2 it’s fantastic and with an EFB it will be like having a new payware airliner in the sim. I was only yesterday looking at the blank/unusable EFB and thinking it’s a shame it’s not been implemented, so it’s fantastic to hear of the imminent SU13 enhancement to the 787. Again top marks to the devs for continuing this project. OK it isn’t pmdg737 level of aircraft, but it sure feels more like flying a bigger boeing it than it did previously. The FMC usage is now quite similar to the 737 making it quite an easy transition between them both.
