Hi all,
I’ve just got the 787 ive switched on the ap and fd but for some reason it won’t follow the flight plan. What I mean by that is it won’t go from way point to way point. Is there something I’ve not activated apart from ap and fd. I’m very very new to the 787 I’valways flown the a320neo can anyone let me know what I gotta do to make it follow the flight plan.
Did you switch on LNAV??
Think I stuck them both on in the press everything and see what happens but I’ll give it another go tomorrow thanks for letting me know ill give a update once I’ve tried it
Vnav certainly did not work before this update, so your likely going to need to use V/S and dial up or down for your vertical navigation.
LNav should work for the lateral navigation.
I can’t get hdg select or hold to work either oh no, (works fine on the 747)
i did what people suggested but it still didnt do what it should do autothrottle didnt hold the speed at what was selected so ive given up with the 787 until it gets fixed properly because at the moment its pretty unflyable so im sticking to the a320nx till everything you know works. I mean it was a day 1 plane and it still doesnt work properly like a hell of a lot of other things in msfs 20
