Brief description of the issue:
The 787 elevator trim is not working (NUM1/NUM7)
While the indicator is moving/sliding, there is no reaction from the aircraft. It is not pitching the nose up or down
it is still not working. Can we fix this please?
That’s never going to happen because Asobo made the 787 fly like a FBW Airbus, which is plain & simple wrong.
I haven’t experienced this exact issue, but have the issue where when disengaging the AP, the trim is reset (or something) and the plane lurches due to sudden change in trim setting.
There is some threads showing similar issues, closest being this one
But they are all closed and locked.
I don’t have any hardware assignments that should cause this. All I have for trim is up and down buttons, and it works fine, other than when disengaging autopilot and it appears to reset itself instead of preserving the existing trim value.
