I am experiencing an issue with the Asobo 787-10. When ATC gives me an approach, I select it on the FMC then when I press execute everything freezes. Everything becomes completely unresponsive. Any ideas?

These types of freezes are often the result of a mod conflict.

Another addon that you have could be interfering with it.
Not necessarily, I have a vanilla install of MSFS Premium Deluxe on Xbox, with no addons, and primarily fly the 787-10 - and I’ve had a few complete freezes upon changing things on the FMC. Random and not repeatable, but definitely happens occaisionally. Once was just changing the Cruise speed in the FMC, another time was selecting a Star or Approach.

I have a vanilla install as well.

Its the same thing as in the 747-8. Im on GP on PC and even with no mods it will still do it. I just can’ select any new approach while in descent usually. So if i do a go around i guess i have to do it manually lol

Yes exactly the same thing on the 747, if you do as told by the ATC and select approach and transition it freezes when you press execute. My work around is not choosing a transition or just ignoring ATC and choosing my own approach. But this definitely needs fixing on the default vanilla boeings

same for me with both 747 and 787. I hope that this will be fixed soon…
My sim freezes every time I try to perform a flight lasting more than 5 hours.
I am having this issue as well. Changing STAR or waypoints during descent and pressing EXECUTE freezes the whole sim
