Are you using Developer Mode or made changes in it?

No

Have you disabled/removed all your mods and addons?

Yes

Which aircraft are you reporting an issue about? (Please also add the proper tag for it)

Asobo B787-10

Brief description of the issue:

When another active window is selected (such as an internet browser), after 5, 10 minutes, the LNAV/AP ceases to work. Despite the path commanding a turn while LNAV is engaged, it continues on the current heading. It also fails to hold the designated altitude. When the focus is returned (i.e., clicking on MSFS window again), the LNAV works again, turning to the planned path. The LNAV functioned again without any intervention (other than clicking on the MSFS window).

Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:

This is the flight path from my flight. You can see that it veered off course twice. First, near Kyoto, and second time near Fukuoka.

Well sense an update has happen in the 787-10 Dreamliner if you create a flight plan with in MSFS2020 you can’t control the autopilot system, And the Display doesn’t show the ground just a black background it doesn’t even show the Flight Plan Route red line like it suppose to.
If you create the flightplan with in the MFC in the aircraft it works ok. But Not using the MSFS2020 flight plan…

Also If i create a flightplan Using The MFC in the aircraft and contact the tower for Clearance delivery it will read out like normal but once you take off from the runway your flight plan is gone it’s still in the MFC but the ATC doesn’t contact you and it’s like you took off from the airport with out a flight plan, now flight following or anything…
Good job on messing that up lol

I think so, but I think it is about switching between outside view and cockpit view. When you stay in outside view, the bug is a lot more apparent. This happens to me in many planes.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

Choose plane DA62.
World map: departure KLYH arrival: KHNZ
Press FLY.
On the runway, stay in cockpit view, set altitude to 3500, press VS for 600 fpm.
Click NAV, so you should have GPS mode now and magenta line.
Take off, follow runway heading and press AP when you want.
Stay in cockpit view. All goes well.
Sync current heading and go to HDG mode.
Dial in VOR 110.40, switch CDI mode and sync course.
Click NAV after a few miles, and immediately keyboard key End to go to outside view.
Watch what happens to the autopilot. For me, autopilot goes into circles now.

If you switch to outside view even before reaching 3500 feet, the autopilot even doesn’t reach 3500. It it is an LNAV and VNAV problem.

When I switch back to cockpit view, the autopilot seems to remember it had to do something, and goes chasing the green line again.

787 and 747 both broken after June 2023 update. When I go to make a flight plan off the main menu it doesn’t even show in magenta on the map. Plus, the autopilot refuses to even fly the route with LNAV. How can you mess things up this bad and then just go off on your summer vacation? I tested the A320neo and it routes fine so I know it is the Boeing airliners that will worked on in the last update.

I can only talk about the 747 but to me is working fine. Have you checked that there are no discontinuity in your route? If there are the magenta route will not show

Thanks for trying to help. I used the Microsoft Flight Planner not direct entry into the FMC. The same Microsoft Flight plan CYYZ-KTPA that doesn’t work with the 787 and 747 works with the A320Neo. I always do this route and it broke after the June 2023 update. I’m on Series X btw.

Same issue here. Initially the flight plan route is in display, but after takeoff aircraft does not follow plan route. Flight plan line does not show up in isoline window as well. Hope a fix is coming. This plane flew beautifully before the update.

isn’t it funny, they go to fix one thing and another thing falls apart, it’s like some one goes to replace a gas tank in a car and than the gas gage doesn’t work… LMAO,
this is what you get , i’m not going to say it but when you have some one who is not too competent in programing, than this is the quality of the work you get LOL
