787HX External Power and APU issue

Hello guys, having a few issues with the 787hx mod v0.1.15 and was wondering whether anyone can assist?, when standing at the gate, cold and dark, switch BATT on, the external power unit is connected and the overhead ext pwr switches all say AVAIL, however , clicking them does not connect the power, so my next option is to use the APU, so click to ON then to START, switch flicks back and APU doesnt spool up. Any assistance welcome, thanks.

Topic moved from the “Aircraft” sub category into the “Aviate, Navigate, Communicate” sub category.
“Aviate, Navigate, Communicate” is a sub-category meant for simmers to discuss, ask or answer any questions related to avionics, sim physics, aircraft systems, ATC, NAVAIDs, flight planning, and Live and AI Offline Traffic.

“Aircraft”, where originally posted, is a sub-category for simmers to discuss existing and upcoming aircraft and liveries and constructively express their opinions and recommendations on specific aircraft and liveries. It is also for livery help topics as well.

The “heavy” mod is not needed after the AAU2 sim update, which dramatically updated the stock aircraft.
Remove the mod and try the aircraft, the issue should be resolved.

I have exactly the same fault

I have the same issue, but it occurs after a normal gate to gate flight, I did a VHHH to RCKH short trip without any issue, but when I started my return trip, the ground power does not engage even after I have remove all mods and redownloaded the whole 787-10 package.

In my case the problem was solved after I deleted rolling cache and then set it back to 8 GB. Also I use Spad.Next and realized that I had to start it after the 787 has been completely loaded. If I start Spad.Next during the sim loading process I have issues with Ext Pwr.
