I have the same issue as well. I have all but 2 companies opened, and aircraft for them. When I look at the missions, there are 3 types available (Cargo, Skydiving, Aerial Advertising). I just added firefighting and added an aircraft about 30 mins ago, and didn’t even get any missions for that company at all.

Well, no point to point on what is already pointed on since days… Even in meanwhile '25… Sorry, yes, it IS acturally still frustrating.
Anyway to be constructive and to stay in topic, an additional information in case this is related to some mission-rolling for availability based on airplane status:
After crafting sold all my other planes of other companies to finally get the 208 to finally do medium cargo… So logically MEDIUM cargo only.
→ At first, there was one LIGHT cargo mission available, however it was not possible to accept and transport my plane (as the small cessna is sold so the button for transfer was just gray but still showed my plane and I had enoug money to transport).
About the medium cargo:
The plane is to maintain but nothing is out of order and everything is vital.
- If a plane is for medium cargo, why not for small as well
- If the plane is functional, why no missions (difference between ooo and to maint.)
- Why even offer unusable planes if they require 65% of buying price to trigger missions
End of story, no missions at all, fallback to crafting again.

After doing the first mission in Bora Bora to unlock VIP Charter missions, I have zero VIP charter missions available to accept, even though I have a brand new Vision Jet and an S pilot rating.

The only VIP mission I can do is the one in the loading screen… is there a bug?!

When moderators can post about this - we will! It generally comes from Microsoft who then in turns escalate it to Asobo. There are sometimes we (moderators) will hear back from Asobo (but rarely).
In this case, it came from Microsoft and they indicated they (Asobo) are looking at it and working on it.
For some clarity, they reset the database, which seemed to work at first, but then more reports came in that it’s not fixed. So, they (Asobo) are now still looking at it.
As a reminder again to all, please keep your posts to reporting the issue per Bug Reporting guidelines (report the bug only or if fixed for you) to keep clutter out of bug reports.

I have no missions on freelance at all, not a single one. I can do plenty of them as employee though

Thank you. This is the first clear communication we’ve had on the issue and I’m sure this is appreciated by most.
What is frustrating is that it’s taken this many reports and people asking for updates to get here. I understand your predicament, so it may be worth passing along to MS that the community appreciates the update and when widespread functional failures happen like it h as a here, proactivity is good customer service.

This is off-topic as it’s not reporting a bug, however I felt the need to respond to this:
This has been passed along by all moderators, and we received an acknowledgement on it.
As it’s been a holiday for MS/Asobo, they indicated that all this would be their primary discussion as well as all the bugs/issues in MSFS 2024.
From here downward, please only report this issue or if it’s working.

Have the same issue; on sunday, 30th december '24, I had plenty of SAR missions in the alps, the next day, all of them were gone. On the 31st of december '24, I still had plenty of private charter missions, also in the alps, and the next day, all of them were gone as well. The only missions left are medium cargo and a few (1-3) SAR missions, and not a single private charter mission.

• As of 12/31/24 ~1145pm the only Freelancer missions that have populated are light cargo missions. I own 3 companies, Cargo transport, Passenger transport, and Charter service. Similarly, in Employee missions, their are no Charter transport missions or Passenger transport missions. I have completed the required GOLD missions to open these.

Same issue for me and has been persistant for several days.
Had to grind for hours in the 172 to finally afford the vision jet (I have no issue with that!) but now I can’t use it. 0 missions showing for charter. Back to the 172 for weeks to save for the 208, but I really don’t have the motivation to fly the 172 again for weeks. I got the game on game pass where I got game pass specifically to play this game. Don’t think I’ll renew.

What i think we have to keep in mind is that there’s many of us who made the devs aware of the lack of Vip tier 2 missions, to low payouts on certain missons and many other things, we don’t know the full reason why the missions was taken down but one probable cause would be that the developers are working hard on fixing the issues. And instead of keeping the bugged missions in the game they simply took them down until they’ve solved the issiues.
