Just chiming in to say I’m having the same issues. No VIP missions.
I’m hoping the silver lining here is that once this gets resolved maybe they also inadvertently fix the zero missions for the CJ4.
Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?

The CJ4 missions are near LAX
Ive found 3 in total today. 2 near lax and the other I have posted the airport in an earlier post.
Glad I didn’t sell the CJ4!
I am having the same issue in Career Mode.
Additional information: I also noticed that the Statistics related to number of successful missions I have had is incorrect stating that I have 0 completed missions in Career. I have considerably more than that.

Do we have any kind of update from Asobo? i cant seem to find anything, do they not correspond with any community online? genuine question.

Caravan with reverse thrust can handle short runways like this. Even IRL. It just requires a higher skill level and faster reaction times and a very good STOL approach.
If you want better/longer runways - you can try the pacific islands - and stop flying in EU and USA mainland.
Base yourself around NTTR - plenty of high paying cargo missions there (500K-700K) and most runways are long enough for you - some are grass, dirt and gravel - but wide and long.

Thanks for keeping us informed. From the looks this seemed like a DB-Issue from the beginning, with some logic or calculations not making it into 2025!

Do we have any updates on this bug? Trying to do other missions like Airline missions and can’t even get passengers to board. Game is literally unplayable.

Same here. No more Rescue missions aviable

Same issue for me.
Played two rescue missions and then got hook endorsement. Will not give any more resucue missions to move up to hoist missions.

I haven’t seen a rescue mission in last 3 days
I got the winch license but since I’ve only done 9/10 rescue missions I’m need 1 more to go before I can get the winch missions.
And I don’t see any.
Also but I’m OT, I also started my own company, and I have no missions here. ABSOLUTE ZERO.
Only as a employee. And they are missions that I’ve already done in abundance.
there is definitely something stuck.
