Getting bandwidth warning and no bing, what a joke. UK based.

We have escalated this for further investigation. Unfortunately I don’t have any further update to provide at this time.

Still being disconnected with ample bandwidth to run NORAD

I am getting low bandwidth errors again(UK) and nerfed to offline scenery.

Also the live weather is not injecting correctly yet again - as per this thread. Live weather data injection bug - September 2024 (not general accuracy) - #30 by utd4life12

Has there been any confirmation that the 2 issues are linked?

UK based

Same here. UK. 500 fibre.

Same here, UK. 1gb fibre.

Any new news? Eta?

Happened to me this afternoon. Was working this evening.

These things would be more tolerable if Microsoft didn’t put up messages slyly implying that it’s our fault.

Is there any more information available or an update possible about the issues in this thread? Has it now been resolved?

No it has not been resolved. 2 days here.
I would imagine that everyone is off on holiday.

There’s been no insinuation that it was users fault in any of the messaging regarding yesterday’s outage. There was a confirmed Azure outage for UK regions in the morning local time, however once the Azure Status website message cleared we started to see more reports of users facing issues in the same region later in the afternoon. We further escalated this for investigation when reports began to filter in again from UK players.

We’re hoping this issues have cleared up now, but if you are still facing the same low bandwidth problem in the UK, then please let us know. I’ll shortly load up the sim myself to see if I can reproduce or whether it’s cleared now for me too!

Why do data offline issues keep happening on some form. Wasn’t this an issue earlier in the week too. Can we not go a week or month without outages.

I think it’s because the message states your bandwidth is too low, which leads users to start troubleshooting their own connections. Perhaps more specific messages could be employed for different problems which suggest that the problem is external, ‘your connection to the MSFS servers are too low, there may be a problem on our side, please check XXXX’ for example.

And I have just tried a quick flight and it seems OK at the moment, thanks for the update.

UK simmer. Just done a quick 30 min hop EGNV to EGCC (same as yesterday when I experienced the error) and all was good. Not an extensive test but positive

Glad to hear things are back working as normal this morning folks!

I’ll ensure to keep monitoring today but will close this thread for now as it seems the issue has resolved.

Thanks
