The laptop cooling pad arrived this evening. My earlier temp readings when MSFS is running ALWAYS has the CPU running at 97C and the GPU at 91C.
I turned the cooling fans to their maximum RPM and the CPU still runs at 97C and the GPU was cooled by only 1-3 degrees reading 89C most of the time. Bottom line, the cooler is not worth the bother of the extra weight and risk of dropping the laptop when I move it.
Oh well. This CPU wants 97C and that’s that.
