As for the other comment, moderators are very much needed in any community space to not only help with disputes but a number of other behind-the-scenes responsibilities. Free speech applies to the U.S. Government, specifically the first amendment. This forum is not the government nor a government entity. Therefore discussions are subject to our Code of Conduct. We strive to make this a place for open discussion and opinions while keeping the focus on the product rather than attacking each other. Moderators help keep the Code of Conduct in place as well as the forums organized.
