A few questions?

Hi all,
So I’m new to flight sims and so far am really enjoying this flight sim. But there are a few things I don’t understand.

  1. When taxiing to the gate I get a pop up saying something like use on screen directions to find gate, or something like that, however I cannot see anywhere that does say that.

  2. In the neo when landing sometimes the auto thrust will pop on and completely screw up a landing so I’m wondering if there is a way to deactivate it?

  3. Does anyone know any you tubers or anything that have or have said they are going to make tutorials for each plane to understand things like the autopilot etc? (I understand the games been out for like two days but I thought I’d ask anyway)

Hi @MereDuchess6232. Regarding your third question, if you check out the New Pilot Help & Guides you’ll start to see some of this type content being added by forum members.

Check your assistance settings - under the “Nav” heading, there’s an option for “Taxi ribbon.” Enable that to see the path. It seems that there was a slight oversight; the notifications to use the ribbon may pop up even if the ribbon is disabled.

I’m not very familiar with the a320, so I’m afraid I can’t help much with the second question. If you disengage AP, I assume that’ll prevent the issue - but I could be wrong.

  1. Yes, …on the left of the autopilot commands you’ll find the “A/T” switch,… that will desengage auto thrust. On real life when they do manual landing they desengage AP and A/T.

@Zachry8600 I’ll check my settings and see if I can change that. Unfortunately however turning off A/P does not disengage it.

@Sebas213158 Sometimes that works however sometimes it will just turn itself back on and I’m not really sure why. It could just be that my landings probably ■■■■. :joy:
