I can and do run MSFS on High settings and hold a constant 60 fps, old eyes couldnt recognise anything higher.
So far I havent come across any screen tearing or stutter even on the busy airports. So how you guys with super high end graphics are having problems may well be the temperature gradients set in your cooling systems, I use air, wouldnt put liquid anywhere near my machine. Fans are all set to hit full cooling 100% at 70 deg c (Qfan)
My G Cards both run around 50 deg C when working and the Ti runs at a modest 65 deg C whilst in MSFS (Use HWMonitor to keep an eye on everything)
I would recommend running a temp monitor program if you have one or at least use the temp monitors in Task Manager / Performance at least to check whats going on heat wise.
Only issue I get with MSFS is the constant driver updating, get the your video cards are junk or your drivers are outdated every few days. Reinstall the drivers and all is good.
Carpet under your computer, stand it on a flat surface, overturned tray or a plank of wood is ideal dont block the underside heat venting, dont block the rear venting, at least 10 " behind your PC to allow access and adequate air flow.
Humungous Graphics cards (3000 4000 series use the support brackets provided and make sure your wiring looms are not blocking air flow. Clean the dust filter monthly front, side and benath machine,
I hope these tips on heat removal help thoise in need.
