A new guard page for the stack cannot be created error

Hello! For a long time it has been happening to me that every time I want to fly to or from SBGR the simulator returns the error “a new guard page for the stack cannot be created” or closes without warning. I have tried it by removing all the scenario add-ons in the area and even reinstalling FS2020, and start the sim without any addons but the error continues and always at that airport, although sometimes it also happens at SBSP, which is the closest.

Has anyone had this error or know what could be causing it?

I am currently using the Steam version of the simulator on a PC equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 5500, 32gb of RAM, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 video and Windows 10.

The truth is I don’t know what else to check to correct that so I can fly from Sao Pablo again.

i´m uploading a capture of the error but is in spanish

Sorry for my english and thanks in advance for any help.

Do you have the latest nvidia drivers 556.12 installed ?

I found a few links that might help? Appears to be related to running out of RAM.

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/a-new-guard-page-for-the-stack-cannot-be-created/c5e7a80c-96a6-45cc-bcf7-b20b13430468

Yes, version 556.12 is indeed installed. And the same thing happened with previous versions of the drivers too.

Thanks for the link! I’ve been reviewing it and I’ve practically tried everything it says there. The Windows 10 updates are up to date, I have completely reinstalled Flight Simulator, when testing with a stationary plane in SBGR I am monitoring the RAM consumption and it is within normal parameters and I have not seen consumption peaks and I have closed all applications that are not necessary. I have also tried the System File Checker (SFC) and it has found no errors and in the event viewer there is nothing that comes from the simulator. I have also placed virtual memory both on the SSD where MSFS is installed and also on disk c.
I am very concerned about the fact that the simulator works well in added airports that are quite heavy for my PC but here even with everything low and default scenario the sim closes. I just did another test and now it directly did CTD with no error message or logging in the event viewer.

Best regards and thank you again.

If you have your rolling cache enabled, delete or disable it

I went to that option and the rolling cache was disabled but I deleted it anyway. I’m going to try again to see what happens.

Just loaded a flight at SBGR and no issue here.

Found a similar issue reported on another Microsoft forum:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/xbox/forum/all/msfs2020-a-guard-stack-cannot-be-created/77e71a49-69c1-4f98-9346-c83bcff53707

Hello, good afternoon. I just tried geforce experience to start the simulator but the error continues in SBGR. Only now most of the time it is directly CTD without any error message except the times that a new guard page for the stack cannot be created appears
At this point I am beginning to give up fighting against these problems that take away the desire to enjoy a good flight.
