OBS gives you the choice of capturing with either cpu (x264) or gpu (NVENC,H.264) so whichever suits your system best. Important is to capture to a fast drive (preferably not the same one as your packages are on), I use my NVMe PCIe-4 C: drive, packages are on D. 4k 60fps no problem
