I was pretty bummed for the 1’st few days. Day 1 was in the 97% club. The next couple+ days after getting it installed I couldn’t play the game. Constant CTD’s. I tried everything I could think of including uninstalling 2020 (got some space back on my nvme anyway), driver updates, uninstalling anything I think could be conflicting. Never posted about it, just kept my thoughts to myself. Posted that I wasn’t bothering with a refund as I was confident it would get sorted and would have just wound up buying again.
Then this thread showed up
I posted in there, others posted in there. And a solution was found and posted by another member. Guess what it worked. Today was the 1’st time I’ve been able to play this game. Around 2-3 hours of free flight, then started working on the career. Total crash free. Thank god for this forum. I had written the game off and was going to put it on the backburner until I heard things were fixed. Game is loading up fine, fairly quickly, runs great at ultra, steady frame rate.
Anywho, thats my forum experience. Not posting for likes or pats on the back. Just sharing my experience about this place and how it helped me. I feel bad for those who are still struggling. I know one person (friends from another game and forum) who is in the UK and game up and refunded. Hope he has another try at it and can get it to work/install
