A weird rectangle showing during Challenge League / Free Flight

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

There is a rectangle showing in the frame. I don’t know what it is. It is usually shown when starting a weekly challenge, no matter Rally or precision landing.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Frequently. I have to restart the challenge to try to remove it.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Enter Challenge League

  2. Start a challenge. It may be Rally or Landing Challenge.

  3. At the beginning of the race, this rectangle may show.

  4. If pausing the challenge with pressing ESC, this rectangle will disappear. But if resume, it will appear again.

  5. Try to restart the challenge once ore several times, this rectangle will disappear.

I’ve seen this same rectangle in free flight but can’t narrow down exactly the root cause to replicate it. Sometimes it goes away just by changing liveries, other times it requires a full restart to go away.

When loading into a free flight, a display glitch happened in which the center part of the screen is being blurred. However when using EFB or shifting to other windows, the blur disappeared, which indicates that the blur has nothing to to with the system or hardware, but a simulator system fault.

Just once, very rare.

  1. Enter the game

  2. Click “Free Flight“

  3. Choose an departure airport and Hawk Arrow II.

  4. Start the flight, when loading into the map, the center part of the screen is being blurred.

  5. However when using EFB or shift to other windows, the blur disappear, which indicates that the blur has nothing to to with the system or hardware, but a simulator system fault.
