A2A Aerostar 600

how to remove copilot model? i have pax OFF

Have you tried removing the weight in either/both the A2A EFB app or the default Aircraft EFB app?

Same for me. Same issue with the Comanche too.

Yeh I tried this also but the co pilot remains. I think the only way would be to disable co pilot within character settings in MSFS.

yes, there is no weight in the EFB for that seat.

also, how do you recharge the dead battery? just happened to me on the ground becasue couldn’t get the engines started…

I think I saw in the patch notes that you have to remove the visible co-pilot via the MSFS menu.

The maintenance tab on the A2A portion of the EFB should allow you to recharge the battery

If this is FS2024, go to your profile in the game menu and disable co-pilot avatar.

You have to Inspect on the Airframe tab, it should tell you low voltage in there and give you the option to charge it when you select it.

ah ok thanks. the only option i saw was for a full overhaul which would charge it but ruin the rest of the stuff. so i just click directly on the battery?

Even simpler is to click on the cord next to the battery, in the electrical tab.

Quick question: my left alternator has failed. Is there any way to replace it without using the ā€œoverhaul allā€ button?

Inspect the engine and then click the individual component on the diagram. That should give you the option to replace that part.

If I had millions to spend I wouldnt go for the 600. The lack of a proper anti-ice system is dangerous and limiting to where you can fly in the sim. Also the texture work is a little too flat to impress.

I think Blacksquare does a better job at selling a twin piston.

I have both and both are solid aircraft. You don’t have to limit yourself like that. Sometimes I feel like flying the Aerostar while other times I feel like flying the Duke. When I feel like flying the Aerostar I simply won’t fly it into icing conditions.

But if you had the chance to actually buy one in real life which one would you choose based on your experience with them in the sim?

Neither of them honestly. Both of them have their fair share of ownership issues. If I wanted to buy a twin-engine aircraft and money was no object it would be a DA62.

If I only had money to buy one of the addons it would be the Aerostar.

Has anyone figured out how to change the batteries in the headphones?

It’s all well and good that they don’t last forever, but if there’s no way to put new batteries in, then this feature is simply annoying.

Not on my PC at the moment but right click the power button if I recall.
