Not wanting to get involved in the bun fight you guys are having, buuuuuut just thought I’d say…
It should be possible to synch the weight and balance as I’ve done it with a preset save/load system in a recent update of Aircraft Manager Pro + Location Manager Pro now available - #128 by Sonicviz
It wasn’t as simple as I initially thought, so that’s why it’s probably stymied developers from trying further, but It proves you can overwrite the data as needed and it loads the aircraft as indicated.
However, needs to be much simplified on the SDK side to be useful for aircraft side synchronisation, which is unlikely to happen for MSFS 2020 I suspect.
I really hope MSFS 2024 makes it much easier for 3rd party devs to synch all data back to the sim as a single source of truth so other apps can rely on it for whatever they might need, as well as users having a consistent expectation that all the in sim tools accurately reflect the aircraft state at any point in time.
Atm it’s a mess, and looking to get messier.

ps: moving the CG slider isn’t a big deal tbh. You can hit reset bottom left to go back to the default W&B anytime.
