A2A has said it will be a July release.
When or where did they state that?
Absolutely can’t wait. There’s other addons that emulate some parts of what the A2A planes have but I always felt like they weren’t quite up to that level of quality that I experienced with their planes in P3D and FSX. Some have walkarounds, others have semi-realistic startups, but none of them have ALL of that and make the plane and the engine feel as alive as it is with A2A.
The sound didn’t sync with the prop and it shutdown too fast.
Seems to be intentional. From Scott on the A2A Forum:
We don’t use the MSFS sound system, Accu-Sim has it’s own sound system directly connected to the physics. Every sound is triggered by a physical event with per frame accuracy, there is no delay. You are mistaking a cockpit rattle that happened from compression kickback. It’s like punching something, the energy goes into the thing you hit then it dissipates it by way of a rattle. This is how it happens in the real Comanche. All sounds don’t immediately stop once the prop stops. It’s when the energy stops and is then dissipated. So it’s a feature, not a bug

Over and over again in the Youtube comments on the trailer. Scott (Owner of A2A) replied to many people saying that it will be a July release.
And right in their statement linked in the OP’s first post.
…the new technology we’ve been working on for the last two years, and if all goes to plan, you’ll be able to fly it in July.
Let’s hope it “goes to plan” then ![]()
Has there been any mention of the price? I don’t care too much for the Comanche but the level of simulation is very tempting.
Not that I’m aware of. What do you think it will be?
I don’t care as am getting it for sure. But it will be interesting to see where they pitch it. Gonna be a lot I guess. £60?
My guess would be $49.99.
Dare I ask if this amazing level of simulation is coming to Xbox?
According to Lewis, one of the devs in the A2A forum, they would love to, but it doesn’t appear it is possible due to limitations with the Xbox platform.
This is next level and dare i say “above PMDG” kind of next level. Even looking at their much older showcase videos for other sims, you’ll be overwhelmed by the depth of simulation squeezed in there by Accu-Sim.
Technically, their Commanche for MSFS is nothing new in terms of A2A standards, and that says a lot.
I seem to recall (can’t remember the source though tbh) that they were looking at releasing it in July barring any unforeseen problems.
Not a firm promise from what I understand but what they said in June that they hoped to do.
Coming from XP11 I don’t know what their pricing history is compared with their competitors.
£50 to £70? Maybe £65? It will be interesting to find out and see what their pricing strategy will be.
On a different note, I hope it is pretty well optimised and that there is no intrusive drm. Probably over thinking here though.
Definitely interesting questions.

I had all their aircraft for P3D and do not remember any DRM.
Here are the prices I payed for some of their aircraft:
A2A SIMULATIONS - C172 TRAINER P3D PROFESSIONAL € 70.42
A2A SIMULATIONS - ACCU-SIM PIPER J-3 CUB P3D4 PROFESSIONAL €53.82
A2A SIMULATIONS - ACCU-SIM BONANZA P3D4 PROFESSIONAL €83.28
A2A SIMULATIONS - CAPTAIN OF THE SHIP 049 CONSTELLATION P3D PROFESSIONAL €92.39
No way I would pay that even for this.
Agreed those prices would not fly in this current market. I imagine they will priced lower to be competitive.
I also think that prices will not be the same for MSFS.
