A2A Comanche 250

Nothing wrong here with updating the 2020 Comanche.

I will wait, because it may happen that when they release SU 5 and implement corrections that will force a radical change in the behavior of the aircraft and then another paid update will be released?

Yes, I have the 2020 version, updated to version 1.6.5 in 2024, and I’m happy with it. It doesn’t bother me that, for example, there’s a glitch with the spark plug animation on a tablet.

I highly doubt that. The update was for a native version of the Comanche with a few new things which I’m sure took a lot of work.

We don’t know what the developer will come up with, I’ve been burned more than once.

Sorry to hear that but A2A isn’t that kind of third-party developer.

I was referring to Microsoft/Asobo. I find A2A reliable and honest with its customers, but as I wrote above, it’s not up to them whether they’ll be forced to modify the module, so I’ll wait.

What makes you think they will make you pay for an update for it to be compatible with SU5 or any other SU that causes dramatic changes? A2A wouldn’t do such a thing.

I suppose that if they had to do a major update that would consume a lot of hours of work, they should be paid because they would have to do it, nobody works for free.

You do you.

They already did it when they brought Comanche to FS2024 for free. I mean the compatible version, not the native one. I bet it required a lot of work. They also gave us free 2020 version of Aerostar even though they didn’t plan to do it and changed their mind because of the demand.

I can’t recall a single developer that charges customers for an update that keeps their product compatible with the current game. FS2024 evolved a lot since release, we already have SU4 and all planes/sceneries I ever bought still work fine or have been updated several times for free. I don’t know what changes you expect in SU5 that would force developers “to modify” their modules so much they will charge us.

Of course you can wait, it’s your loss not mine. It’s just your arguments are a bit…

There are no plans to make another paid Comanche 2024 update on top of the existing paid Comanche 2024 update. One is enough

As a reminder, Voice of the Customer feedback and Manufacturer responses cannot be conducted in MS Official Forums. Please take those conversations to A2A Off board channels. Thanks.

Never worked for me. Obviously it worked for others or there would have been loud annoyance. But I had to delete it each time before I could update. My posts are on their forum.

You are supposed to delete it rather than install over the top of the old version. This is generally common practice.

Never had a problem updating A2A’s Comanche. In fact, been using A2A products since FSX days and always had great support from the company.

Hi

Not flown this for a while just would like to read from you guys what the latest version is on marketplace is it up to date with A2A web store?

I purchased on Xbox but moved to pc and have the 2020 version.

Would like to get the 2024 version is it a simple upgrade or do I need to buy full version again?

Thanks

It will be available as a $15 upgrade once it arrives in the 2024 Marketplace. A2A previously said there were things on their end they needed to do before approving it for MP release.

oh! I thought it was already on mp, just maybe a version out of date like is the case in the past waiting for catch up. Hope it’s not going to be another long wait again like previous updates to the MP.

There is no version (2020 or 2024) of the A2A Comanche on the MSFS 2024 Marketplace currently. It’s available to you via My Library if you owned it in 2020 as it transferred to 2024, but only for previous owners.
